New Toyota Hilux India: What Its Redesigned Cabin Will Look Like

Toyota is set to launch the ninth-generation Hilux in India on July 28, 2026, and dealers and enthusiasts alike are calling this the biggest update the pickup has received in years. Toyota has confirmed the launch date, though full India-spec pricing and the final features list are still to be announced closer to the day.

Exterior: A Tougher, More Modern Face

The new Hilux is built around Toyota’s “Tough and Agile” design language. Up front, slim LED headlamps are connected by a black panel carrying bold Toyota lettering, sitting above a larger honeycomb grille and a redesigned bumper. Internationally, this engine is now available with a 48V mild-hybrid system that improves fuel efficiency and smooths out stop-start behaviour, and there’s a reasonable chance India gets this setup too, though Toyota hasn’t confirmed it yet.
