Yamaha is preparing to expand its premium scooter portfolio in India with the NMax 155, a globally popular maxi-scooter that is expected to launch around June 2026. The scooter is likely to be positioned above conventional 125cc offerings and below entry-level motorcycles, targeting urban riders who want comfort, performance, and advanced features in a single package.
The development matters because the Indian scooter market is slowly moving beyond basic commuter models.
