Maruti Suzuki Exports FY26 has reached a historic milestone as the company recorded its highest-ever overseas shipments. With total exports crossing 4.47 lakh units, the automaker has further strengthened its position as India’s leading passenger vehicle exporter.

This achievement reflects the rising global demand for India-made vehicles and the company’s expanding international presence.

Maruti Suzuki exported over 4.47 lakh vehicles in FY2025–26, registering a strong growth of around 34 percent compared to the previous year. This marks a significant jump and highlights the company’s consistent focus on global markets.

A key factor behind this performance has been the expansion of its product portfolio. The company exports a wide range of vehicles, including hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles, catering to different customer needs across markets.

Another important development during the year was the start of exports of its electric vehicle, marking the company’s entry into the global EV space. This aligns with the increasing shift toward electric mobility worldwide.

Maruti Suzuki’s strong export network has also played a crucial role. The company supplies vehicles to around 100 countries, with demand coming from regions such as Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and parts of Europe.

Popular models like Baleno, Swift, Dzire, Fronx, and Jimny have contributed significantly to export volumes, thanks to their reliability, affordability, and wide appeal.

The company had initially set a target of 4 lakh units for FY26 but managed to exceed it comfortably, indicating stronger-than-expected global demand.

This growth also highlights India’s increasing importance as a global manufacturing hub. Competitive production costs, improved quality standards, and expanding capacity are making the country a preferred export base.

Maruti Suzuki’s consistent performance has helped it maintain leadership in India’s passenger vehicle export segment for several years.

Looking ahead, the company is expected to further strengthen its export strategy with new models and increased production capacity, including a stronger focus on electric vehicles.
