Royal Enfield has crossed a major milestone by recording 10,71,809 domestic motorcycle sales in calendar year 2025, becoming the first Indian mid-size motorcycle brand to surpass the one-million annual sales mark. The achievement was officially confirmed on 22 January 2026, highlighting the company’s strongest full-year performance to date in the Indian market.
The CY2025 domestic volume represents a 25 percent year-on-year growth, improving significantly over the previous annual high achieved in CY2024. This rise reflects sustained consumer demand across urban and semi-urban markets, even as the broader two-wheeler industry faced uneven recovery trends.
In addition to domestic performance, Royal Enfield recorded 132,132 motorcycle exports during the year, registering a 36 percent year-on-year increase. Export growth was driven by steady demand across multiple international regions, reinforcing the brand’s expanding global presence.
Sales momentum remained consistent throughout the year, with three consecutive months crossing the 100,000-unit mark in domestic wholesales. October 2025 emerged as the strongest month, with the company posting its highest-ever monthly dispatches of 116,844 units, supported by festive demand and stable supply chains.
A key contributor to the sales surge was the decision to pass on the full benefit of revised GST rates to customers. Price reductions of up to ₹22,000 on select 350cc models improved affordability and helped sustain retail traction without altering the brand’s premium positioning.
Royal Enfield’s product portfolio, spanning 14 motorcycle models across 350cc, 450cc, and 650cc platforms, continued to drive volumes. Consistent demand for models such as the Classic, Hunter, Himalayan, and 650cc twins ensured balanced contribution across segments.
With record domestic sales, rising exports, and stable monthly volumes, Royal Enfield enters the next calendar year with strong momentum and a reinforced leadership position in India’s mid-size motorcycle segment.
