Kia India has officially launched the 2026 Kia Seltos in the Indian market on January 2, 2026, with prices starting at Rs 10.99 lakh and going up to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new-generation Seltos arrives as a comprehensive update over the outgoing model, focusing on design refresh, enhanced technology, improved safety equipment, and a broader variant lineup.

The 2026 Seltos continues to play a crucial role in Kia’s India portfolio, positioned in the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment. With the updated pricing strategy, Kia aims to maintain strong demand across both entry-level and fully loaded trims.

The new Seltos is based on an updated platform that improves structural rigidity, cabin insulation, and overall ride quality. Kia has revised the exterior styling with sharper LED lighting elements, redesigned bumpers, and a more upright SUV stance, while retaining the familiar Seltos silhouette that has resonated with Indian buyers.

Inside, the 2026 model receives a redesigned dashboard layout with larger digital displays, improved infotainment responsiveness, and upgraded material quality. Kia has also expanded the feature list across variants, focusing on connected technology, driver convenience, and in-cabin comfort. Higher trims now offer more advanced safety assistance features, strengthening the Seltos’ position in its segment.

Powertrain options continue to include petrol and diesel engines, offered with multiple transmission choices depending on the variant. Kia has retained this wide drivetrain strategy to cater to buyers seeking fuel efficiency, performance, or automatic convenience. The company has not positioned the Seltos as a performance-focused SUV but instead emphasized balanced everyday usability.

From a market perspective, the 2026 Kia Seltos directly competes with other established mid-size SUVs in India. Kia expects the refreshed model to attract both existing Seltos owners looking to upgrade and new buyers entering the segment for the first time.

Bookings for the 2026 Kia Seltos were opened ahead of the price announcement, and deliveries are expected to commence shortly across Kia dealerships nationwide.
