Kia India has inaugurated its 500th service workshop in Ahmedabad, marking a major milestone in its aftersales expansion strategy. The move highlights the company’s continued focus on strengthening customer support as its vehicle base grows across the country.

The new facility is located in Chandkheda and is designed to handle high service volumes efficiently. With this addition, Kia’s service network has expanded significantly, covering hundreds of cities and providing access to a large number of customers nationwide.

The workshop spans a large area and is equipped with multiple service bays, enabling it to service a substantial number of vehicles annually. It also includes dedicated areas for washing, parking, and customer handling, ensuring smoother operations and faster turnaround times.

A key feature of the new facility is its readiness for electric vehicles. It is equipped with fast-charging infrastructure, reflecting Kia’s preparation for the growing adoption of EVs in India. The workshop also offers specialized care services for vehicle maintenance and detailing.

Sustainability has been an important focus in the development of the workshop. The facility incorporates eco-friendly features such as solar power systems, rainwater harvesting, and water recycling, aligning with the company’s broader environmental goals.

The expansion of the service network is part of Kia India’s long-term strategy to enhance aftersales experience. By improving service accessibility and reducing wait times, the company aims to strengthen customer satisfaction and build long-term loyalty.

As competition in the Indian automobile market intensifies, a strong aftersales network is becoming a key differentiator. Kia’s milestone of 500 service workshops reflects its commitment to supporting customers throughout the ownership lifecycle while preparing for future growth, including the expansion of its electric vehicle lineup.
