Eicher Motors has entered the electric two-wheeler segment with the launch of the Flying Flea C6. Developed under Royal Enfield, this marks a major shift for a brand traditionally known for its petrol-powered motorcycles.

The Flying Flea C6 has been introduced at a starting price of ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it in the premium electric motorcycle segment. It is aimed at urban riders looking for a combination of design, performance, and modern technology.

This launch represents the first electric motorcycle from Royal Enfield, making it a significant milestone for the brand. The Flying Flea sub-brand takes inspiration from lightweight motorcycles of the past, blending heritage styling with a modern electric platform.

In terms of design, the motorcycle features a distinctive look that stands out in the EV space. It combines retro-inspired elements with contemporary styling, along with a lightweight and compact structure that enhances usability in city conditions. The unique frame and suspension setup further add to its visual identity.

The Flying Flea C6 is built on a dedicated EV platform and is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack. It offers a claimed range of around 150 km and a top speed of approximately 115 km/h. The performance is tuned for urban commuting, with quick acceleration and smooth power delivery.

The motorcycle also comes equipped with modern features, including a fully digital TFT display, smartphone connectivity, navigation support, multiple riding modes, and advanced safety systems such as traction control and ABS. These additions enhance both convenience and rider safety.

The overall design and performance focus make the Flying Flea C6 suitable for daily city use. Its lightweight build and compact dimensions make it easy to handle in traffic, while the battery range supports regular commuting needs.

The launch of this model signals a major shift in the motorcycle industry, with legacy brands like Royal Enfield entering the electric mobility space. It also reflects the growing demand for premium electric two-wheelers in India.

With this step, Eicher Motors is expected to expand its electric portfolio in the coming years. The new platform could support additional models, helping the company strengthen its position in the EV segment.

The Flying Flea C6 marks the beginning of a new phase for Royal Enfield. By combining classic design with modern electric technology, the brand is adapting to changing market trends while maintaining its identity.
