TVS Motor Company has presented special Apache and Ronin ROK Edition motorcycles at the 2026 Rann Utsav in Gujarat. Set against the white salt desert of the Rann of Kutch, the showcase brought a strong visual statement and highlighted the brand’s focus on lifestyle motorcycling in India.

Instead of announcing a new product launch, TVS chose to celebrate its existing platforms through themed custom builds and a large community ride.

A Different Kind of Reveal

The unveiling happened during the ongoing Rann Utsav festival, a popular cultural and tourism event in Gujarat. The setting itself played a big role in shaping the identity of these motorcycles.

More than 100 riders from different cities participated in the ride event. Members of the TVS Apache Owners Group and the TVS Ronin CuLT community rode together across desert stretches and highways surrounding the Rann. The idea was not just to display motorcycles, but to build a riding experience around them.

What Is the ROK Edition?

The ROK Edition motorcycles are custom-built versions of the standard TVS Ronin and Apache models. They are not new production variants but specially styled motorcycles created for the event.

The design theme clearly draws inspiration from the desert landscape. Subtle sand-inspired paint finishes, salt-flat style graphics, and rugged visual elements give these bikes a distinct personality. Some builds also feature dual-purpose tyres and minor cosmetic changes that enhance their adventure-ready appearance.

Mechanically, however, the motorcycles remain the same as their regular versions.

TVS Ronin: The Base Platform

Since the ROK Edition is based on the Ronin, its core specifications stay unchanged. The standard TVS Ronin in India comes with a 225.9cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces around 20 bhp and nearly 19–20 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and equipped with dual-channel ABS.

The bike is known for its upright riding posture, comfortable seat, and balanced performance for both city riding and short touring.

The Apache models showcased at the event are derived from the Apache RTR range, which focuses more on sporty riding and sharper handling.

Riding Experience at the Rann

During the event, riders experienced open desert roads and smooth highway stretches. The Ronin’s relaxed ergonomics and mid-range torque suited the long ride format, while the Apache models showed their agility during controlled riding sessions.

The focus remained on enjoying the landscape and the community spirit rather than pushing performance limits.

Safety and Structure

The rides were organized in a controlled manner, with participants wearing proper riding gear. Standard safety features such as dual-channel ABS, disc brakes, and LED lighting remain part of the base motorcycles.

TVS emphasized responsible riding practices throughout the event.

Will the ROK Edition Go on Sale?

As of now, TVS has not confirmed whether these ROK Edition motorcycles will be introduced in showrooms. They currently serve as showcase builds designed to highlight customization possibilities and strengthen brand presence at lifestyle events.

For reference, the standard TVS Ronin is priced between approximately ₹1.25 lakh and ₹1.60 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant. Apache pricing varies across engine options and trims.

If launched in limited numbers, such themed editions could attract a premium.

With this showcase at Rann Utsav 2026, TVS Motor has once again focused on community, culture, and lifestyle positioning rather than just specifications. The desert setting made the reveal visually strong, but for now, these ROK Edition motorcycles remain special event highlights rather than confirmed production models.
