Jawa Moto has unveiled the new Jawa 730 Twin, marking a major step forward for the iconic brand as it enters the middleweight motorcycle segment. The new model blends classic retro-inspired styling with modern engineering, signalling Jawa’s intent to expand its global product portfolio.

The Jawa 730 Twin is powered by a newly developed 730cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. The motor is tuned to deliver strong performance while meeting modern emission standards, positioning the bike as a capable offering for both everyday riding and long-distance touring. Power and torque figures place it firmly in competition with other global middleweight motorcycles.

In terms of design, the 730 Twin stays true to Jawa’s heritage. It features a round headlamp, sculpted fuel tank, minimalist bodywork, and a café racer-like stance. These classic elements are combined with contemporary touches such as full LED lighting and a modern digital instrument cluster with connectivity and navigation support.

The motorcycle is built around a tubular steel frame and comes equipped with premium hardware. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, while braking is managed by disc brakes with anti-lock braking system for improved safety. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.

With a reported dry weight of just over 200 kilograms, the Jawa 730 Twin sits comfortably in the middleweight category. The chassis and ergonomics are designed to offer a balanced mix of comfort and sporty handling, making it suitable for a wide range of riders.

It is important to note that this motorcycle has been developed by Jawa Moto in the Czech Republic and is separate from the Jawa brand operated in India by Classic Legends. As a result, the 730 Twin is unlikely to be launched in the Indian market in its current form.

The unveiling of the Jawa 730 Twin highlights the brand’s future direction, with plans to build a new platform that could support additional variants. The model is expected to make further appearances at international motorcycle events, where more details about production and availability may be revealed.
