Mercedes-Benz India has recorded its highest-ever annual sales, marking a major milestone in the luxury car segment. The company sold 19,363 units in FY2025–26, reflecting strong demand across its premium portfolio.
This achievement highlights the growing demand for luxury vehicles in India, particularly in the high-end segment where buyers are increasingly opting for premium features and performance-focused models.
The company maintained steady momentum throughout the year, supported by consistent quarterly performance. In the January–March period, sales crossed 5,000 units, contributing significantly to the overall annual record. This steady growth indicates a stable demand pattern in the luxury segment.
A key driver behind this performance has been the strong demand for top-end vehicles. Models priced above ₹1 crore have seen increased traction, reflecting a shift in buyer preference toward higher-spec offerings. Customers are now focusing more on value, performance, and advanced technology rather than entry-level luxury options.
Alongside its record sales performance, Mercedes-Benz India has also strengthened its performance portfolio with the launch of two new AMG models. These include the Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4MATIC+ Aero Track Edition and the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe 4MATIC+ Performance Edition. These models are designed for enthusiasts seeking high-performance vehicles combined with luxury and advanced engineering.
The company has also been focusing on enhancing the overall customer experience. Efforts such as expanding the dealership network, improving digital services, and offering more personalized ownership experiences have helped strengthen customer engagement and brand loyalty.
Mercedes-Benz India continues to maintain a strong position in India’s luxury car market. Its focus on premium and performance segments has allowed it to stay competitive despite increasing competition.
Looking ahead, the company is expected to continue expanding its portfolio with new luxury and performance models, including electric vehicles. The focus will remain on delivering high-value offerings while maintaining a strong customer-centric approach.
The record-breaking sales performance of 19,363 units in FY26 reflects the strength of the luxury car market in India. With the addition of new AMG models and a clear focus on premium growth, Mercedes-Benz India is well-positioned to sustain its momentum in the coming years.
