Hyundai Motor India has announced a price hike for the Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line SUVs in the Indian market. The revised prices were officially implemented on January 19, 2026, and apply to select variants across both model line-ups. This development is significant as the Venue continues to be one of Hyundai’s strongest performers in the compact SUV segment, where pricing plays a crucial role in purchase decisions.
The price increase for the standard Hyundai Venue varies depending on the variant. Most versions have become costlier by around Rs. 10,000, while certain mid-level trims have seen a higher revision of up to Rs. 20,000. Hyundai has chosen not to revise prices for the top-spec variant, which continues to be sold at its earlier ex-showroom rate. No changes have been made to the feature list, engine options, or equipment levels following this update.
The Venue N Line has also received a price revision. All variants of the performance-oriented N Line range now cost Rs. 10,000 more than before. This increase applies uniformly across manual and automatic versions. The N Line continues to cater to buyers seeking a sportier alternative within the compact SUV space, offering distinct styling updates and chassis tuning compared to the standard Venue.
After the latest hike, the Hyundai Venue range now starts at approximately Rs. 7.99 lakh and extends up to about Rs. 15.69 lakh, ex-showroom. The Venue N Line range begins at around Rs. 10.65 lakh, ex-showroom. Final prices vary depending on the selected variant, engine option, and transmission choice. Dealership-level offers and waiting periods may also differ based on location and demand.
Powertrain options across both models remain unchanged. The standard Venue continues to be offered with three engine choices: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include manual and automatic gearboxes, depending on the variant. The Venue N Line is exclusively powered by the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and is available with a manual transmission as well as a dual-clutch automatic.
Hyundai has not introduced any cosmetic updates or new features alongside this price revision. The design, interior layout, and technology offerings remain identical to the previously announced versions. Buyers can expect the same equipment such as connected car technology, multiple safety features, and convenience-focused additions that have made the Venue a popular choice in its segment.
This price hike forms part of a broader industry-wide trend at the start of the calendar year. Automakers typically revise prices in January to account for rising input costs, logistics expenses, and operational overheads. Hyundai’s decision reflects this ongoing cost adjustment cycle rather than a product-led update.
Despite the increase, the Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line continue to compete aggressively in the compact SUV segment, which includes several high-volume rivals. With no change in specifications or features, the revised pricing is expected to have a limited impact on demand, especially among buyers prioritising brand reliability and after-sales support.
